A business owner since 1985, Deb Nyberg has owned Executive Search Recruiting firms in San Antonio, Kerrville and Boerne, Texas.   In 1985, her business won the Boerne, Texas Chamber of Commerce award for the business who contributed most to the economy of the city.

Ms. Nyberg has been a speaker for the Chicago Women’s Development Center’s annual Women in Business Conference and presenter at the Florida Governor’s Conference for Women and Girls.  She has been invited to attend special task force operations involving the advancement of women and girls and was present last year for the Georgetown University 20th year Reunion celebrating the Women’s Conference originally held in Houston, Texas.

Founder/Developer of award winning online small business communities.  Projects support and promote e-commerce and the advancement of small business growth, through online education, resource information, expert team development and business to business opportunities.

1993-1995 Image Media, Illinois
Owner of document conversion service bureau.  Secured the McLean County Recorder's Office 2 year project to convert the office to image retrieval.   Later Image Media closed operation due to health problems and began a restructure of its business to internet development.

Ms. Nyberg was originally hired by Bill Churchwell, owner of Chenier Business School to assist his graduates in securing professional positions after graduation.  However, the task of developing branch schools became more important to the future of his school.  He promoted Deb Nyberg to Assistant Director of the San Angelo school.   She represented private proprietary business schools in developing curriculum, operational compliance, student loan complaince and accredidation proceedings with the Southern Asso. of Colleges and Schools as well as the Texas Education Agency.  In addition, Ms. Nyberg secured employment placement for graduating students, assisted local corporations with training sessions and developed a “preparedness” enhanced course for graduates seeking professional positions after graduation.  Mr. Churchwell sold his entire school chain and through mutual alliance, Mr. Holt, a personal friend of Mr. Churchwell, hired Deb to perform similar functions at his Austin, Texas school system.

1985-1988 Owner/Operator of Hill Country Employment Services, Kerrville Employment Agency and American Personnel & Temporary Services (San Antonio/Kerrville/Boerne, Texas)
Ms. Nyberg (aka Debbie Wheeler-Holmes) developed her chain of executive search companies and temporary employment services, one business location at a time.  She specialized in Texas Ranch Operation placement and was a major recruiter for Louisiana Power & Light in its search for Nuclear Engineers on the plant’s startup.  The companies provided most of  the Boerne, Leon Springs and Kerrville, Texas temporary staffing for businesses.  She employed over 100 employees during the time these businesses were in operation.

In addition, from 1970 thru 1985 Ms. Nyberg’s career was as a legal secretary and paralegal for large lawfirms in the Jefferson County, Texas area.
